Match Report:

This was a game that should have been won by half time, could have been lost and in the end was won with the last shot of the game. In the first half Repton were dominant and playing very well: the passing was crisp and the movement was sharp and the effort from every member of the team was excellent. As in previous matches though, the finishing didn’t match up to the rest of the play and at half time we had scored only once: a scrambled goal by Pearse. The second half was more even and we conceded two goals from open play to go behind. We kept playing good hockey though and scored a short corner by Knight after good work by Golding. At the death another short corner scored by Keep after a one-two with Pearse sealed what was in truth a well-deserved win. CMK
