Result: Drew 2-2

Match Report:

This was a game that typified the season. In the first half Repton had plenty of pressure, created and missed a number of chances, hit the post and in the meantime conceded two sloppy goals to be 2-0 down at half time, although without some excellent work by Wortelboer in goal it could have been worse. The second half was more of the same but better and Repton dominated possession so that Wortelboer was little more than a bystander. Fluent hockey from the midfield with tighter defence meant we were on top and in the end we deserved at least the draw. Both goals came from a well worked short corner routine between Pearse and Keep. CMK
