Match Report:  On a slow and slippy pitch both sides struggled to build any long periods of possession in this game and it was not really one for the spectator.    Oakham has several chances in the first half, including a number of short corners, but Stephen Attwood was equal to the task when called on.  A fortunate decision helped Leo Watton open the scoring from the penalty spot when an innocuous foul on George Osborne was adjudged to be bad enough to award a penalty stroke.  George Osborne doubled the lead soon after with a direct run and finish.

Two yellow cards in the second half for not retreating five metres and for a clumsy tackle saw Repton play with ten players for a short time and with nine players for a couple of minutes in the second half and although the boys re-organised themselves quite well two good Oakham goals levelled things up.  Oakham wasted a couple of other chances before Leo Watton converted a penalty corner to seal the win.  Adrian Roseanu played very well in his new role and Charlie Twigg made several important tackles when Oakham were pressing late in the game.
