Result: Won by 2 wickets
Match Report: Free Foresters 136, Repton 138-8.
The tone for this win was set in the opening exchanges with Ahmed and Byas reducing the opposition to 30-3 after 13 overs with some precise seam bowling. Length during these spells was spot on and Byas removed 2 of the top three with Ahmed removing the other.
Sanderson, Moore and Cosford then set about the middle order, sharing the wickets between them before Ahmed returned to finish the job. A conceded total of 136 was a good performance against an experienced cricket side.
Although we limped over the line a little, Graham, Jacques and Ahmed all did enough to ensure we secured the win with the bat.
A good performance after a huge amount of cricket last weekend and we look forward to taking on the pedigree of Oakham on Saturday at home, 1230 start in a 50 over game.
