Match Report:

A great start to the season and on such a beautifully sunny day!  Repton were in high spirits and some great performances were achieved in this very first match of the season.  In the U17 boys' competition, Winfield took first place in the 400m and second place in the high jump, and Chaffey also gained second place in the discus.  Jopson gained a personal best in the triple jump and high jump, Gould in the javelin and discus, Taylor in the javelin and Perera in the shot.  The senior boys entered as guests in the U19's competition as we did not have enough athletes to field a team.

The girls' won their competition convincingly and a first place was gained by Forsyth in the 200m, Walters in the 1500m, Louch in the high jump and shot, Dunford in the long jump, Barker in the triple jump and the relay team also came first. Marsay gained a personal best in the javelin as did Charlesworth in the discus.  Other creditable performances were Chadwick in the 800m and Perkins in the triple jump.  Newcomers to the team Wright, Stack and Lewis also did themselves proud.

Well done to everyone.               LHB
