Bonfire Night Celebrations in Words and Music

Bonfire Night Celebrations in Words and Music

This year Bonfire Night sees an exciting collaboration between Chamber Choir and the Junior Literary Society.

The evening will consist of music inspired by the theme and period, with pieces performed by the Chamber Choir, as well as by some of our most talented solo artists. Intertwined with this will be a variety of readings, including creative pieces written by pupils themselves. We will also be exploring the historical importance of the Gunpowder Plot, as compared to the modern day perception and significance of the event. The pupils have been rehearsing hard and a glass of wine is on offer afterwards. This promises to be a wonderfully entertaining event and all those who would like to celebrate the evening in the relative warmth are more than welcome to attend.
