Best Ever Chamber Music Concert

Thursday’s Chamber Music concert in the Beldam Hall was hugely supported with nearly all seats taken as a number of new groups took the platform to show their work. The flute choir, saxophone groups, guitar groups, a string quartet and the clarinet group joined the winners of the junior strings, senior strings and guitar competitions to give a fantastic night's entertainment.

Led by members of the Visiting Music staff, pupils from all year groups came together to perform an exciting and eclectic range of repertoire, from Vivaldi and Haydn to Piazzolla and even including a composition by one of our piano teachers Elena Cobb.

There was a real buzz about this concert, with audience members from the school and local community alike coming together in an unprecedented show of support for the chamber music series. It was music-making at its best.
