Beat the snow and go indoors

At a rather fitting time of year, the indoor hockey season started this weekend with four Repton teams in the Midland Finals.

On Saturday, the U16 girls topped the group of five to become Midlands Champions. Caitlin Chadwick's last minute goal against RGS Worcester being the cricial goal of the day. Also on Saturday, the U16 boys became Midlands Indoor Champions after beating Warwick School in the final group game. Jannie Holz scoring a spectaculaer individual goal.

On Sunday the U18 teams were involved. The U18 girls, the defending National Indoor Champions, won the Midlands region again, defeating Oakham in the final. The boys were placed in a tough group and did not make it through, and were unable to maintain their superb record over the last two uears in reaching two successive National semi finals.

These three teams will now be in the National Indoor finals in January. A superb weekend of indoor sport!
