Badminton Triumph

For the second time in three years, The Cross won the inter-house badminton competition in the Lent Term. Beating The Priory and New House on the way, the boys faced more resistant opposition in the final against Latham. However, with some excellent play and great determination, the cup was secured with a 6 – 3 victory. Special mention must be made of Andy Brigham’s commitment to the cause; Andy landed at Heathrow, returning from the States where he was securing his tennis scholarship for next year, in the early hours of Sunday morning and hot-footed it back to Repton in the nick of time to compete in the semi-final and final of the competition.
