Jade and Ceci made a formidable pair, impossible to beat. Both had really accurate smashes, but the power and dexterity of Jade was a joy to watch. Gerogia and Shivani, neither of them badminton players showed they were true sportswomen and could trade in the Netball and Tennis at a moment's notice to pick up a badminton racket and give the opposition a tough combination to beat. A competitive streak is definitely an advantage. Catherine played quietly and calmly with Ivy as her new partner who so obviously enjoyed the thrill of the game. They had some tough opposition
All 6 girls played their best and won in true Garden style by not conceding a game in the first round of the final thus allowing the tournament to finish a little earlier so that the U6 could go back to their all important revision! Thank you to all those for playing, especially to Jade who returned early from her PW.
