The Annual Dinner took place on Saturday 13th November.
The evening was a huge success.
The most senior OR who attended started at Repton in 1941 and the youngest in 2001 and all houses were represented, although not as many female ORs as we would have liked.
Pre dinner drinks were served in the Library and ORs caught up and reminicsed before moving into Pears Scool. The Headmaster gave a short visual presentation of the progress of the school and the vision for the next 5 years.
The meal of Oak Smoked Salmon, Lamb Rump and Chocolate Mousse preceded the toasts to The Queen and School by President John Kirkland OBE.
To end the evening guest speaker Barry Cryer OBE entertained us with one-liners, jokes and ancedotes.
The evening ended with Barry proposing the Toast to the Old Reptonian Society.
