AGM and Annual Dinner

AGM and Annual Dinner

The AGM and Annual Dinner took place on 14th November in Pears School.
Although the number of ORs attending was lower than we were hoping, everyone who came had a throughly enjoyable evening.

The evening began with the AGM in High Chamber, followed by pre dinner drinks in Tithe Barn, where School Librarian and Archivist Paul Stevens had put on an exhibition to commemorate the 355 ORs who fell in World War One. At 7.30 we moved to Pears School and enjoyed smoked salmon, Tenderloin of Pork and Chocolate Torte.
Your President gave the Loyal toast and proposed the toast to the School, the Headmaster responded with a toast to Old Reptonians. Both The President and the Headmaster gave excellent and amusing speeches. After dinner many ORs remained in Pears catching up and reminiscing.
