The beginning of term is a time for reflection on the public examination performances of all the pupils in school. This year the returning L6th have been awarded for their excellent examination results with pupils who gained more than 7 A* grades being given formal recognition by the school.
In the Mitre this means that the following awards were announced in the beginning of term Lists:
-Imogen Clarke L6M remains an academic scholar and was commended by the Headmaster for her superb GCSE results
-Scarlett Flight L6M and Charlotte Graham L6M were made academic scholars having previously been academic exhibitioners in recognition of their GCSE performances
-Elizabeth Duggleby L6M, Rosie Cordingley L6M and Emily Welsh L6M were all awarded honorary academic scholarships in recognition of their performances at GCSE
Many congratulations to all the girls who should be delighted with their achievements and who now have a very strong foundation from which to begin their A level studies.
