Abseiling for Charity

It is wonderful to be able to report that on Saturday afternoon, Elizabeth Brighouse 5M successfully completed a 200ft abseil down Jury’s Inn in Derby. Elizabeth managed to raise a superb £250 on this occasion and should be congratulated for her efforts. The money raised will go to the charity –Derbyshire Association of the Blind. At 200ft Jury’s Inn is the tallest building in Derby and to add to the sense of adventure the abseil took place at Sunset. There were 40 people taking part in the event between 3pm and 6pm on Saturday evening.
