All three of the Abbey girls who featured in the National Indoor 
Hockey Finals played a big part in the team’s outstanding success.
Well done to Becky, Wiz and Shona for an amazing display of skill and determination over the two days of intense competition. We shouldn't forget the contribution of Friedi in the qualifying rounds either.
Becky’s shooting at short corners was unerringly accurate and clearly flustered the other teams; who were unable to counter the German goal-machine!
We’re pretty confident there will be a coach trip to see them play in the finals at The Nottingham Trent FM Arena on 30th January (See the sports section for details http://www.repton.org.uk/girls-1st-xi-u18-national-indoor-finals-16012010 ). Let’s hope for a big turn out to support. Short highlights will be shown on Sky TV.
