Repton School is today celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results - more than a quarter (26.87%) of Repton’s entries were awarded an A*.
Three pupils, Serena Cole, Lucas Pringle and Parras Joshi gained an A* for each subject they sat. In addition four pupils achieved 10 A*s: Amelia Wigglesworth, Georgia Armour, Marcus Tarrant and Sophie Palmer.
Excellent results were achieved also by Year 10 students who took their Maths iGCSE a year early. All but one of the 22 entries gained the top grade. In total four Year 10 entrants who took Music achieved an A*.
Commenting on the results this morning, Repton School Headmaster Alastair Land said: “Today’s results demonstrate that Repton pupils have aimed high and realised their personal ambitions. We are delighted for every one of our candidates and we congratulate them all. These results reflect the independent hard work of our high achieving pupils and are testament to the assiduous and supportive work of Repton's teachers.”
