Sixth Form Entry

As soon as you have decided that you would like to proceed with an application to Repton, you need to register your child formally for a place in the School by completing a Registration Form. This can be obtained from the Registrar or by requesting a prospectus. The Registration Form needs to be returned to the Registrar along with a £100 fee and a copy of your child’s passport.

Entrance by Examination

For entry to our Sixth Form, pupils are required to be registered and will need to sit examinations in three in subjects they are likely to study at A Level.

For pupils whom English is not their first language an online English test will also be required.

These papers will be based on GCSE standard questions and so pupils can prepare as they would for internal exams.

All applicants that require a Tier 4 Child Visa will have a personal interview or a Skype interview with a member of Repton’s staff.

Entry to the Sixth Form is subject to a minimum requirement of 5 B grades at GCSE. Candidates must achieve at least a B grade at GCSE in a subject to be studied at AS-level, and an A grade in the case of Mathematics, any Science or a Modern Foreign Language.

The Entrance Examinations can be sat at Repton School during a visit or at a pupil’s current school if the school are willing to assist in the process and provide invigilation for the examinations.

We must also receive a satisfactory reference from a candidate’s current school.
