Repton’s Music Society to perform Handel’s ‘Zadok the Priest’ and Haydn’s ‘Nelson’ Mass

On Sunday 26th November, Repton Music Society will perform Handel’s ‘Zadok the Priest’ and Haydn’s ‘Nelson’ Mass. The concert will take place in Pears School, Repton School from 7.45.pm.

The concert features four soloists, including Mr Andrew Ashwin, Head of Singing, and a great orchestra. The concert will last for one hour, without interval.

Mr Oliver Walker, Director of Music, commented: “It is always a great thrill when great soloists and an Orchestra come together to make exuberant music - and that will very much be the case on Sunday for Repton’s choral society concert 2017. The choir has been working hard to prepare Handel’s ‘Zadok the Priest’ and Haydn’s ‘Nelson Mass’ - two extraordinary works.”

All are welcome to hear this feast of music
