On Sunday 8th October 2017, eight prep schools visited Repton for the annual Repton Challenge.
This year’s event centred around an espionage theme with pupils being tasked with the challenges of creating spy gadgets, code breaking and designing and making rocket cars.
There was also the opportunity for target practice with paintballs, puzzle solving and a ‘baddie hunt’ where orienteering and map reading skills were put to the test.
Pupils enjoyed a hearty roast dinner in Repton’s boarding houses over lunch before the highly anticipated rocket car finale which saw the pupils’ creations being launched across Repton’s precinct in front of a huge crowd of onlookers.
Congratulations to Wellow House, winners of Repton Challenge 2017 and to the runners-up, Yarlet and Foremarke Hall.
