Offers of places to study at the world-renowned Oxford and Cambridge Universities have been made to half a dozen of our pupils.
Among them is Kyoko Canaway (U6G), who as well as receiving an offer of a place to study French and German at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, has also been awarded a prestigious Organ Scholarship.
Cambridge conditional offers have been made to Elizabeth Martin de Bartolome (U6F), who hopes to read Geography at Clare College; to Hannah Sherry (U6G) who has an offer to study French and Spanish at Fitzwilliam College; and Manon Allen (U6F), who has a conditional offer from Selwyn College to read History and Politics.
A conditional offer to read Mathematics at Trinity College, Cambridge has been made to Stephen Richardson (U6N).
Hoping to begin studies at Oxford University in the autumn is Joel Holmes (L), who has a conditional offer to read Computer Science and Philosophy at University College.
In addition to the Oxbridge offers, another of the world’s most prestigious universities, Harvard, has offered a place to Mimi Tarrant (U6M).
Only 5% of applicants to Harvard, the oldest College in America, are offered a place.
Repton School Headmaster Alastair Land said: “We are, of course, delighted with the offers that have been made and congratulate the pupils concerned. The offers endorse the fact that alongside academic outcomes, Repton succeeds in focusing on values, character and education in its broadest sense.”
