Match Report:

Uppingham played well today and at a fast pace that we initially struggled to keep up with. We didn't help ourselves in the early stages by giving the ball away a little too easily, and the windy conditions made shooting difficult. However we settled better as the match progressed and I was most pleased that the girls made the last quarter as competitive as possible, especially for the 3 girls who played in their last match for Repton (Barker, Haynes and Gadsby). We 'won' the last quarter 8-6, but unfortunately had left ourselves with rather a lot to do. Uppingham deserved the win but it was pleasing to end the match on the ascendancy. Well done girls.
