Match Report: The girls had to pull together as a very close knit team for this triangular tournament and ensured, through a combination of clear communication, determination and short, sharp play, that absence from the team has little effect on the final scores. H Celerier (GS) played a stunning game, scoring the majority of the 31 goals over two games and I thank her for stepping at such short notice. As ever, Young (WD/GD) and Barker (C) made a lively and dynamic duo, passing the ball constantly down to our goal third with help from the incredibly reliable Welch. We had the upper hand on the opposition from the very start and the whole team could not have been happier than when Stones (GA) scored her first ever goal in a competitive Sixth Form match, having never played the position before! Well done to all the girls, it has been a pleasure to coach the team this season! GLH
