Match Report:

After a slow start to the season due to snow we were able to play our first match against Trent on a damp but otherwise fine day. It was a close match throughout the first 3 quarters, until we managed to pull away to gain a final score of 21-18. Having never played together before, the team only became stronger as the match went on. Everyone put in their best efforts, Harriet Hunt and Arabella Butters worked well together learning more about their positioning in the ‘D’. The defenders, Florence Stewart Sandemann

and Zoe Dunn, worked tirelessly throughout, intercepting many times and making it difficult for the Trent shooters to score. All in all it was a successful match that has provided the team with a good foundation to improve on throughout the season.
