Result: 52-25 win.
Match Report:
This was an excellent performance against a strong and physically superior side containing many players who play regular club rugby at weekends. Nonetheless, the squad worked tirelessly in their efforts to move the ball away from the contact area and play free-flowing rugby rather than the cappuccino rugby being displayed by the national side. Strong performances were shown by senior players Fearns, Perera and Webster. The excellent half back work of Garret and Keen, complimented the strong running lines of Wood and Boyce in the centres. Solid tackling by the O-Block contingent of Taylor and Wilson, showed that there is much to aspire to in the future. A full and detailed report is to follow. ACC
